Advertising has really taken off in Grand Bahama with new vibrant ads being placed in both the international and domestic terminals of the Grand Bahama International Airport. Both the Bahamian Brewery and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) were the first ads to be installed in both terminals, each company having capitalized on their Nassau advertising success.
“We’ve had some great reactions to the new ads that are up in both the international and domestic areas of the airport,” said Sarah Kirkby, Barefoot Marketing, and on-island sales rep for Airport Advertising Freeport (AAF). This is a great venue to capitalize on the arriving tourists, winter residents, businessmen and women, and even our own Bahamians returning from vacation trips.”
The clients with ads are incredibly excited about the new advertising potential available to them by advertising their products and services at the airport. As a result, both AAF and Barefoot Marketing are looking forward to giving even more companies the “WOW” factor of advertising at a location that can reach so many people.
AAF’s sister company, Bahamas Airport Advertising (BAA) has had great success advertising in the Lynden Pindling International airport, and this great success has continued in Grand Bahama. Thomas Bethel, Vice President of AAF explained,” The response has been fantastic. We have sold 20 premium Ad spaces in the last 4 weeks, which include some of the largest players in their respective markets. BTC, John Bull, British American Financial (BAF), as well as Coldwell Banker Sarles Realty have all signed long term contracts. ” Airport advertising space is limited and sold on a first-come first-book basis; interested parties are asked to contact Airport Advertising Freeport for available locations and rates at 242-264-1032 or by email [email protected] and also Barefoot Marketing at 242-352-4578 or by email at [email protected].
